The increasing requirements for high productivity and cost savings lead to the necessity of high speed extrusion line with a reduction of scraps. High speed automotive insulation line design perfectly reflects this trend and include particular features which contribute to a lean production process. The X-Flow color change system in particular guarantees a quick color change without slowing down of the line and thus a reduction of scraps and downtime. The dimensional stability of the cable is guaranteed during the complete color change phase.
The quick colour change system X-FLOW is entirely managed by the supervision process.
All parameters related to the colors and size to be produced can be easily set up and stored in the appropriate section of the touch screen panel.
Cerrini designs and manufactures also automotive extrusion line for special application, like automotive flat cables. This insulation line is completely tailored according to the customer needs, and all the equipment is specially designed to achieve optimal coating of multiple conductors.
