Silicone high speed insulation line
The high speed silicone insulation line reaches 500 m/min: the number of tunnels, the pay-off and take-up systems are chosen according to the maximum required speed.
Main technical features:
- Dual flyer or déroulé pay-off
- Water cooled extruders group with main extruder TG.90 15D or TG.120 15D and auxiliary TG.60 15D for skin/stripe. The water cooling guarantees stable extrusion temperature of silicone. The extruder surfaces in contact with silicone rubber are produced of anti-abrasion alloy
- Self-centering water-cooled crosshead
- IR vulcanization system, composed of the right number of tunnels for the required max line speed
- Cooling system to reach the desired cable temperature before winding operation
- Automatic or semi-automatic take-up for constant line speed
