High speed building wire insulation line supports all the thermoplastic materials PCV, PE, PP and XLPE, flame retardant, halogen-free compounds HFFR and cross-linked flame retardant compounds and one-step silane cross-linked PE.
The extrusion group includes a main insulation extruder and if required an auxiliary skin/stripe extruder. For liquid silane technology a longer extruder 30D is recommended to ensure PE grafting and peroxide decomposition and then high cross-linked degree with minimum silane dosage. For a multipurpose line whre PVC, HFFR and liquid silane XLPE are processed, the standard extruder 25D is successfully used with a special profile screw for liquid silane XLPE. The gravimetric dosing system allows a precise liquid silane dosage. For an efficient extrudability of HFFR compounds a low compression screw profile is designed.
The line is equipped with an automatic take-up to ensure production continuity at high speed up to 1500 m/min.
The easy to use and interactive line supervision monitors and displays in real-time all the process and cable parameters.
